Mason, business man

As a gift from my Uncle Duke and Aunt Diane, Mason received the most fabulous gift...an investment in John Deere!
Here he is showing his support for the company...

Pampered

While staying at Grammie's, Mason was treated like a star! He was catered to day and night... He got new clothes, new toys, and even went to a professional photographer for his first photo shoot. :)

I feel almost certain he was a little sad when it came time for him to come back home.

playing catch up

I'm still not sure where all of the time goes... and, as usual, I'm playing catch up on the blog.

Mason is over 4 months old now! At his last dr's visit, we found out he is basically a roly poly. He is in the 75% for weight and 25% for height.

Details:
  • He is teething (I didn't know this could happen so soon).
  • Eating solid foods... Favorites: carrots and pears
  • had his 1st overnight at Grammie's while Mom and Dad went to Tahoe
  • basically sleeps thru the night
  • sits in his bumbo seat
  • loves baby einstein videos

Seth and I traveled to Lake Tahoe on a ski trip with a group of friends. After 4 days of snow boarding, I enjoyed a massage overlooking the slopes. Seth traded in his snow board and tried out skis on our last day. He did pretty well! I was impressed.  The down side to our trip was that nearly everybody passed around the flu. Now, we are home and nursing ourselves back to health.

Despite our crazy schedule, we did enjoy the outdoors a little before Christmas. This buck stepped out in front of me but was too small to shoot.
